 The Towel of the Future Dec 10, 2009
What a great idea these towels are! When I first received mine, they seemed disconcertingly thin and dish towel-like. But once I used one, I realized how gloriously innovative it is. Though thin, the towel is very "thirsty"; a few swipes will dry you completely. The towel dries in a few minutes, too, so it's never damp when you need to use again. And laundering these towels is thrilling. You can fit dozens of them into the washer, and you don't even need to use the dryer. I put mine on a clothes-drying rack, and they dry in a flash. Thick, puffy towels are a thing of the past, I say.

These towels are really great! They feel like a spa towel that doesn't weigh you down. They have a lot of room to wrap around your body and they easily hold the wrap because they are so light. Moreover, you do not have to toss the towel after a few uses because they dry very quickly verses a terry cloth towel. Terry cloth towels sometimes start smelling moldy because they take longer to dry. Also, the towels dry very quickly in the dryer which saves on my electric bill. So they are eco friendly because you can use them several times before they need cleaning and when you dry them in a dryer, they dry very quickly. I only wish they weren't so expensive.

These waffle towels are excellent. Waffle on both sides, none of that half-terry cloth business. Really clean, feels great on the skin. Washes well and does not develop any clumping so characteristic of common plush towels. Can't fade because it's white.

I encountered these towels in Italy and love the fact that they dry out quickly. They are also light and easy to use.

These waffle towels are great, and just like the ones I used in Italy. They are soft, dry quickly, and don't seem to me at all wrinkly after washing. Unfortunately, my husband didn't like that they were not soft & fluffy. So, we just use different kinds of towels!
