Better than microfiber. Me want MORE! Mar 26, 2009
By NY State of Mind I wholeheartedly echo the setiments of the first reviewer, Nicky1234!
These ARE soft and they ARE absorbent. And, yes, I am pitching my current batch of kitchen dish towels. I have just ordered a batch more of these to replace everything I've been using. Who wants to stick with even good table wine when champaign is being poured?!
I have recently been on a microfiber campaign for both kitchen & bath. I WAS (past tense) perfectly happy with the DII Waffle Microfiber kitchen dishtowel. It absorbs well, but it too has its limits when lots of stuff needs to be dried to make way for more that needs washing.
The DII is smaller (16" x 24") and thinner. This luxurious feeling Greenfeet Bamboo towel is 20" x 30" (56% larger) and slightly but significantly thicker. Its larger size makes drying large stockpots easier and faster. They are also lint-free and do glassware beautifully. This one is THE WINNER in the kitchen dish towel category!

color not as pictured and only one towel Jan 08, 2010
By Gretchen The towels are nice but, like another reviewer noted, a much brighter color than what you see on the website. Expect to get a bright green towel. I am returning mine because although the title is "towels" (and there are other listings on amazon for packs of two towels, for the same price, from the same seller) this is just a single towel.

Large, Beautiful and Smooth, but also expensive Nov 09, 2009

"Wolf"
I bought the Cornflower Blue Bamboo Towel for $7. This towel is really large at the size of 28" by 19". It is a very attractive towel, and it is smooth and soft to touch. I have washed it ten times or more, and it has maintain its texture and structure. The bright color may have fade a bit. Despite it is marketed as a bamboo towel, it is really a 60% bamboo/40% cotton blend towel. The addition of cotton makes the towel stronger and fluffier than otherwise. Needless to say, bamboo towels are well-known for its texture. Bamboo fiber is even softer than cotton. Since this is a bend towel, it is not as soft or as smooth as a 100% bamboo towel, but this should not matter, as it is a kitchen towel afterall. For me, the most important attribute of a bamboo kitchen towel is its antibacterial property. A bamboo towel is more resistant against bacterial and mildew growth than a cotton towel.
On the down side, this towel is not inexpensive. With the same money, one can afford 2 good quality cotton towels or ~5 cheap towels. Even though a bamboo towel is more sanitary than a cotton towel, one can make the counter-argument that rotating 5 cheap cotton towels is more sanitary than using just one bamboo towel.
I am giving this a 4 star rating for being a good solid product.

False Advertising Nov 29, 2011
By doglover Description says 100% bamboo fiber. Got product and it is 60% bamboo 40% cotton. I wanted a 100% bamboo product and I realized that it is not after I washed them and cannot send them back.
