Purrrrdy Good Feb 23, 2008
By J. Anderson

I bought this can hoping to keep the dog from getting into the trash. The can is incredibly light-weight, and it didn't take him long to figure out that if he knocked it over, the lid would come off, and he'd have access to the contents all over the floor (arrgh, dog!). But for use as a non-doggie-proof trash can...especially for the price, this is an excellent choice. Classy colors, glossy finish...it's a great product.

Good basic trash can. Nov 08, 2009

I had one of these for a few years, and it was pretty good. I never put a whole lot of trash in it, so the size was good and the durability was good. The lid recently broke, and I was glad to find that the exact same trash can was available on Amazon. It's still a good trash can today. I'd recommend it if you want a small trash can for something.

Cheaper than it looks Sep 14, 2009
By Kelly This trash can is much less quality than it looks. I purchased it for my bedroom. The sway part at the top is too large for the hole and frequently sticks, making it extra work to throw your trash away. Also, the size seems much bigger online. Once a few tiems are in it, it's full (the top swings through so if anything is in it's way you can't put any more trash in it). Recommend a different product for this use.

You can find better elsewhere Sep 12, 2009
By L. Squires This is just your average, cheap, plastic wastecan. The color really didn't have anything metallic about it. The lid is quite a pain to use (the opening is just not large enough), so finally I threw away the lid & and now am just using the base. If I had it to do over, I would not purchase this again.

Not Very High Quality -- Lid Comes Off Jan 17, 2010
By Miss Jennifer R. Scott I needed a swing top can to keep my cat out of the trash because she eats anything and everything including cotton, fur and plastic bags. I thought this would be very handy to toss things that are small when I walk by and to keep them out of her mouth! I love the way the opening sways as it is very easy to dispose of lightweight items; that said, it does not serve the purpose I had hoped because the lid absolutely refuses to stay on the bottom securely. When you take it off to empty it you try and try to get it to fit securely to the base and it just stays loose. Very frustrating. Any small jarring or movement makes the entire lid come right off -- if my kitty does this, well, she'll have a feast of entirely inedible things. This was for her safety so I regret not getting one that would be more sturdy.
