Warm and Comfortable Blanket Oct 27, 2008
By Ren Borrelli Price: This was a decently priced product in comparison to other vendors.
Shipping: Awesome! Got it two days after order (with standard shipping).
Product Quality: Nice. The color matched the display. The blanket is soft and comfortable. There are some problems. The blanket doesn't heat evenly, but it isn't too noticeable. Also, you will be covered in fuzz! Owning this blanket is like owning a shedding pet. I have black pillow cases and sheets, and they are covered in fuzz. If you own lighter colored bedding and clothes, this won't matter as much.

Got what I'd paid for Mar 22, 2007
By A.C. I probably wouldn't suggest this blanket. It does the job but takes a really long time to warm up and is very thin. (Not very cozy)The blanket pills and sheds all over...probably as much if not more then the dog! I suppose I got what I'd paid for.

On my 3rd one Nov 19, 2008
By R. Tetu Purchased first one at Walmart and after a few washings (They are supposed to be machine washable) it stopped working. I took it back for another and sure enough didn't even make it through winter (I had not saved the receipt from the 1st purchase so that's why I am getting stuck with exchanges. I exchanged for my 3rd (hopefully last one) tonight. I realize now I will not be able to "wash" this one in a washing machine. I attempted to register it online but the model I purchased (only model the Walmart had) isn't even listed on Sunbeams website.

Great value and function Dec 31, 2008
By Katy I got the mushroom-colored blanket in twin size on sale to use instead of a heated mattress pad on my full size bed. It spans the full size mattress perfectly from head to toe and side to side. The heat settings vary from very low to very high. I consider myself a very cold person who needs a lot of warmth to sleep at night, but I have found myself only keeping this blanket at the second-lowest setting. Overall it's a great solution and a great deal for what I needed, considering how expensive heated blankets are these days.

can't wash it, ever! Apr 10, 2009
By Scott Forest This is absolutely ridiculous. This is the second unit I have gone thru already. The first one didn't last a week when I washed it on the gentle cycle as directed. I brought it back to the store. This time I placed it under the sheets as not to have to wash it as often. I turned the unit off, allowed it to cool, unplugged it from the wall. Then unplugged the controls from the blanket. Washed on gentle. Hang dried it. I plugged the controls back in. Then plug it into the wall and the controls are blinking yet again! I paid $90 for this, I wouldn't say I got my monies worth at all! My parents still have the ones we abused as kids over 28 years ago! I'm waiting for sunbeam to contact me back, I wonder what they will have to say. I hope their customer service is better than their quality control.
