My wife is thin and well I am not. She is cold almost all the time. This blanket allows her to cook herself while I have my side off. The intelligent zones keep you warmer in the places you need an cooler in the others. This is a marriage saver! This blanket never comes off of our bed.

The Sunbeam King Box Pattern heated electric blanket comes with dual controls, and is an excellent buy for the price. Elsewhere we have found blankets with the same features at twice the price, but without the same features. The separate controls have individualized setting features, and on those cold nights means you never have to go into cold sheets again. I highly recommend this to anyone living in a cold climate, especially if you've got arthritis or other maladies. This blanket makes it all go away, as you stay nice, warm and snug without that heavy blanket feeling.

Initially this blanket was fine and met our needs. However, in the course of one winter, the blanket became increasingly ineffective to the point where it no longer provided any kind of reasonable warmth. We called Sunbeam customer service and were instructed to box it up and mailed it to Mississippi for repair or replacement. Great! It cost $22.50 to ship it at the cheapest rate. If the blanket is replaced in a reasonable period of time and performs for more than a season, I will edit my review, but right now, my wife and I are very unhappy with the product and Sunbeam.
