 This Slipcover is a No-No If You Have Pets Oct 21, 2011

I found out the hard way this is not the slipcover to own if you are a pet owner. Wanting to sit on something a little softer and more lightweight during summer months, I purchased this pique slipcover, which is 94% polyester and 6% spandex. It was easy to put on and looked great--for the first week or so. Many months later, it is full of dog snags and white fur. Our dogs don't typically snag carpet or anything, but this slipcover is a mess of pulled fabric material. With other slipcovers I could easily vacuum up (with an attachment) excess dog hair, but such lightweight fabric and a good suctioned vacuum cleaner are incompatible. Even washing/drying the slipcover does not release the embedded dog fur. These are not hairy hounds either, just two little Jack Russell Terriers. They do not use the sofa as a playground, just a place to occasionally nap. I don't fault Sure Fit, as they specifically make sturdier dog covers for furniture. I just didn't realize this particular slipcover would deteriorate so rapidly if pets are involved. If you don't own a pet, it's a nice looking slipcover, fits well and feels good to the touch.

I am very happy with my purchase of this product. The material feels nice,the color worked out great. I have a dog who even after wiping her feet seems to store dirt to get all over the furniture. This defiantly hides the dirty paw prints between washes. The fit is great for my furniture. Overall it was easy to put on...there are tags to tell you how.

Wow!!!!! This is a great buy for the price. I have a 4 year old who likes to read and play on my nice new coachs.
I was about to lose my mind trying to find a solution until I came accross this.
The color is as shown in the picture. This cover fits my huge loveseat, it doesn't move around and doesn't need to
be tucked constantly after sitting on the coach. When I put it on, i made sure the elastic bands go deep inside the coach
cushions, that's how I got it to literally stick to my coach and it doesn't move at all. Even my husband was pleased with it and wants to
buy the covers for the sofa and recliner. The material is very soft and warm. This
is a great product if you have kids and don't want your coachs to get spots or tears. I am very pleased with this
product. However, If you are trying to upgrade your coach, you might need to add some colorful cushions on top of the cover and maybe a throw to give
your coach a little bit of a design.

Very soft fabric, great color and easy to put on. My only complaint is that I can't figure out how to keep from having to continuously tuck the fabric in after you sit on the couch. I don't know if anyone has mastered that.
