Product appears to be a brushed chrome w/ polished chrome accent. Not so. The whole soap pump is polished chrome, so it's not as attractive as I was expecting the product to be. It is heavy, which I like; it won't tip over very easily.

This is a really nice soap dispenser. It works very well and puts out just the right amount of soap. The only downside is that it is difficult to keep clean and shiney as it gets water spots all over it and I am seeing some rust building up down in the seam near where you push it down to get the soap out.

Although the body of this dispenser is metal, the pump is actually plastic. I had one like this before and the plastic ended up breaking. I am hoping that this one will last longer. It does look nice and the body is solid metal, not a painted on chrome that will come off. I also like the fact that the bottom is rubber to keep rust stains off the counter.
UPDATE: After just a few months, I have become very disappointed in this product. The rubber base fell off and the top is getting rusty. This is something that is meant for the bathroom and is going to get wet at some point (counter getting wet or water dripping from your hands when you put soap on them). The fact that this looks so bad after such a short time is very disappointing, particularly given the price. I would stay away from this dispenser.

Been using this for over 2 months now. It works well with the rest of the Steeltek SOHO line. Very nice looking and functional. It is lasting well so far - I had bought another expensive dispenser at a local store and after 1 month the color started to wear off. This has already outlasted that!
The outside looks very nice and I know the inside is plastic but I haven't had problems with plastic pumps in the past so I am not going to ding this one for that.
