This was a splurge purchase for me and I am so glad I ordered it. The comforter is warm in the winter and cool enough in the summer to keep on the bed. I have actually washed it in the washing machine and fluffed dry in the dryer and it's come out perfectly nice. I have not had any problems with feathers working their way through the fabric cover. This is highly recommended.

I got this "down" comforter 2 years ago, as a wedding gift. I tried it out (and should have returned it right away) but because I have a QUEEN bed and got the KING comforter, I thought I did not like the heaviness of it because it was too big. So, I stored it. I just took it out and put it on the bed. It looks beautiful in my duvet. I have not been able to sleep for the past 5 nights. I thought it was just me having insomnia. I realized this morning at 4am, that I am being suffocated by the comforter. It's so heavy and makes me so hot, unlike my last down comforter. Now I see it's down alternative, not down. Whatever is in there, maybe polyester, is not like down. I hate it. The title of the product is completely false. A refund should be given, but I know it's way past the return date.

If you read the product description of this item, it says:
Package contains 1 Down Alternative Comforter in a beautiful zippered package.
So the title of the item is misleading.
I don't know the quality of the item for what it actually is.
