These are NOT satin; rather, they are a fine quality cotton. The extra pillowcases have lovely embroidery, but it would have been nicer if the flat sheet also had the embroidery. Also, they aren't beige, they are ecru.

washed it after opening the package, on delicate low everything like the tag said, in a new high-end washer & dryer. had dozens of runs in it once it came out of the washer, i had to pull them out one by one as best i could, but it looks bad now, before ever being slept in. 3 stars for at least feeling ok. but it doesnt look nice. also the top sheet isnt satin on both sides, but its ok because with satin side down, the other side can grip onto a blanket or comforter and keep it from sliding off. had the sheets for at least 2 weeks now, btw.

I love these sheets ive had them for a month now and have slept on them every night, they are sooooo silky soft. they have large pockets so they almost never pull out of the mattress, huge plus! i know another reviewer mentioned that the silky feeling is only on one side of the top sheet, this is true but I think it's a good thing, my duvet never falls off, and its hard for me to be both under the sheet and on top of it at the same time anyhow! all around very happy with both the product and the cost. it does gave a few runs in it but this is the fault of my toy poodle and not the sheets.
