Crib Size Wool Baby Blanket Backed with Organic Cotton Flannel 36 Inches x 42 Inches This Snugglewool lambs wool fleece baby crib blanket is backed with soft organic cotton flannel and helps to keep baby cooler in summer and warmer in winter. The wool, from the Merino sheep in Australia and New Zealand, is sliver-knit to a polyester backing and processed to withstand gentle machine washing. The fleece looks and feels like a sheepskin clipped to a one inch length. This lightweight infant blanket made of lambswool requires no heat for disinfecting as wool is a naturally disinfecting fiber. Lambswool resists the development of bacteria and dust mites. The elderly enjoy the larger baby blankets as lap robes. Made in the USA by Rittenhouse Industries.

This blanket is a life saver! It really does help our light sleeper, sleep better. The blanket is on the heavy side so it stays on him at night and doesn't kick off as easily as traditional blankets. He really loves his "wooly blanket" and we take it everywhere. Living in the northeast, our winters are very cold. I use this blanket to bundle my baby up when we have to go out to the cold car in the early morning hours to take the older kids to school. The temperature is in the teens, but baby is nice and cozy. I wish I had a blanket big enough for me, especially for those middle of the night feedings.

My niece is a Vegan naturalist with hardwood floors, and expecting her first child. As a "favorite niece" of mine, I wanted to give her a special, practical gift that showed I thought of her perfect need and perfect desires. No acrylic or polyester blankets for this baby! She was estatic, and yes, Blaise started his tummy-time on this little wonder.
