This pillow is lovely and satiny. And, it would work great for not frizzing up my hair except for the fact that it made me incredibly hot.
I ended up sweating like a pig and my hair ended up frizzing anyway. If you live in a cool climate or are addicted to your AC, you'll probably be okay.

Well, when I thought of satin, I had thought of something smooth, soft and stretchy. While the pillow is smooth, it's not exactly soft. On my pillow, the cover feels taut. Maybe that's hard to imagine, but that's what it feels like. I got it so that my hair wasn't as messed up after sleeping, and I have to say there is a significant difference. So, I guess it's doing it's job. Just didn't have that advertised 'Luxurious' feel to it.

The product itself is OK. I like the hidden zipper. I ordered the lavender and it was more pink than lavender. I also ordered two and was only sent one. Through email, they said they had sent another. After a week I still had not received the other pillow case. I put in a call to customer service. They didn't even answer with the company name or identify themselves. The CSR was very rude and told me I had given them the wrong order number and my pillow case was shipped to Alabama. I live in San Diego. She almost in essence, was not going to resend the product because they were blaming me for giving them the wrong order number. At the time I was talking to the CSR, I didn't have my packing slip so I thought maybe I had transposed a number, but that still didn't mean they shouldn't send me what I had paid for. She told me they sent out the product and I was the one in the wrong for giving them the wrong order number. She came extremely close to telling me I wasn't going to get the other pillow case.
I said " So that means you are not going to send me what I paid for?" Then she replied, " I will send it out but in the future you need to make sure you give the right order number." Basically not taking any responsibility for checking to see that names and order numbers match up.
Well, I went and found my packing slip and I had given them the order number that was on my slip, which happened to be exactly what I said it was when I contacted them in the first place. So I called her back, again, no hello this is Shop Satin my name is _____________, how can I help you, just a hello. I stated that I had just spoken to her and that I found my slip and I had given them the number that was on my slip. Then she curtly said, "Oh, I guess the mistake was ours. I will send out another pillow case today."
So, basically, these people are scammers. They don't send your full order, then make it seem like your fault and make up something to cover their tracks while trying not to send you the product you ordered. I obviously would not recommend them and will never be ordering from them again. Also, shipping is slow, slow, slow. Find another place to buy a comparable product.

The satin is the texture that I expected. I bought this because I had read somewhere that it's better for your face to have a silk or satin pillowcase to sleep on rather than a cotton one. The only downside is that it comes folded, and the fold marks don't come out so easily - even after washing. Maybe a little ironing will do the trick.

I was very pleased with the quick receipt of the product and I have purchased satin pillow cases in the past (for much more money high quality. The choice of colors was excellent. I have purchased satin pillow cases in the past for more money and less quality.
