I have been buying a Ritz towel for years in a cellophane wrapper at our local Ace Hardware. That is a great towel. This is not the same towel.

Ever since I discovered these towels I've been going back for more. They are nice and big and very absorbent. I embroider them for myself and my family and they make a popular gift. The weave is tight enough to make small stitches and the pure white of the cloth makes a good background.

I used to buy this type of towel almost anywhere. They are no longer easy to find. They are the best for the kitchen. I use them especially when I am baking and need to cover cake layers and other items to cool. I have used them also to wrap pies or uniced cakes in that I needed to transport while still warm.
