Not waterproof as claimed Nov 03, 2009
By Someone in Seattle I purchased three of these covers for protecting my four year old son's pillows, in case of night time bed wetting accidents. I own the twin mattress version of this product but have not ever tested it by purposely wetting it to see if it truly is waterproof. Last night my son had a bed accident and when he woke up I could see that the pillowcase was wet. Surprisingly when I took the pillow protector off to launder it (for the first time - I've only had it for two weeks) the pillow itself was wet too. Perhaps this is a waterproof product when the wetness is left on for a short period of time, but it definitely isn't when the wetness is there for several hours. I'm pretty disappointed about this and will be contacting the manufacturer to see what they can do about their claims. I'll be updating here when I get more information.

keeps my neck drier every night, but use in moderation Jul 08, 2008
By Christopher Batchelor Due to the fact that I sweat a lot in my neck at night without a waterproof pillow covering, I bought this covering for all of my pillows. It's OK. It keeps my neck and head completely dry every night.
I also use these on my childrens' pillows, since this product prevents any extra urine from filling up into the pillow itself, therefore making the real pillow-fibers themselves more "stuck-together". But please take note: this pillow protector can't be used with really tiny children, since it has a zipper to close it up, down the one side of the protector itself.

Pillow protector Mar 28, 2009
By S. Carlson I am very satisfied with this product. My husband has it on his pillow and he is very picky and he has not had a bad thing to say about this pillow protector, I asked him if it was noisy due to the water proof covering and he said no. So to me that says it is a great product.

Very nice pillow protector Mar 16, 2007
By B. Anderson I was skeptical about buying these pillow protector covers sight-unseen as I was concerned they would be "plastic-y" and it would be noisy and unpleasant to sleep on them. In contrast, they are made of a very soft and flexible fabric and not noisy at all. The surface is velveteen-like, the zipper stitching is small and uniform and overall they seem to be a high quality product. The size is more than adequate to cover a large bed pillow. I did not give this product 5 stars as 1) I can't really tell if they have reduced my allergies (mild) 2) I have not tested whether they are indeed waterproof and 3) I haven't washed them enough to know how they hold up after several washes. Assuming they indeed prevent dust mites and bacteria from breeding and are waterproof and long-lasting, I recommend this product.

Great pillow protector Jan 30, 2010

Works well and does not make noise when slept on. My husband and son leave greasy places on their pillowcases and then it transfers to the Temper pillows they own. Since using these on their new pillows they have remained completely clean and there is no greasy stain left on them. They let air through but keep the oil on the case itself. They wash well! I always dry in fresh air not drier.
