I just bought a new mattress and wanted something to protect it while giving me an extra layer of comfort. I love the reversibility feature- I never knew a reversible mattress pad existed. I bought a PrimaLoft comforter in the past because I was concerned with allergies and loved how down like it felt.
I recommend this to anyone who wants protection and softness.

This is more of a mattress cover than topper. It is not very thick and the sides are so oversized that they bunch up. You can't push it all under the mattress. Needs tighter elastic.

I love the smooth soft material that covers this mattress cover, it is a quality material. The reason for the 3 stars is that the padding doesn't seem to be even, the sides seem to have more padding than the middle soes so it is kind of pushing you towards the center of the bed. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know about the durability yet.

As soon as this arrived, I put it on my bed and slept on it that night. I'm very happy with it. It has deep pockets to fit many different mattresses. I sink down into it and feel like I'm getting a hug, all warm and cozy. I had thought about buying a heated mattress pad for the North Carolina winters, but my girlfriend suggested buying this, and I'm glad I did.
