A Unique Cotton Process---Micro-Cotton Dec 02, 2008
By Ed Micro-cotton is trademarked process of making a high density fiber loops with an open structure to offer better absorbency. The result is a product with much quicker drying time compared to regular towels of the same weight. The process was developed in India and has been used for guests in fine hotels. I wanted to explain micro-cotton because there is some confusion between micro-fiber and micro-cotton that is used in towels.
When I first received these towels they felt lighter in weight that some others that we use. I felt this might indicate less quality than expected. After using this product several times I realized how much more they absorb in a faster time. They are soft and well finished. The process of making micro-cotton is more involved that what is used in making regular towels. Long staple fibers make the high density loops which result in quicker drying time. A unique high quality product that I would recommend on my experience.

Softest towels I've ever used Feb 15, 2010
By Studio Masters These towels are incredibly soft. You'll love them. The only thing I've noticed is they do have quite a bit of fuzz that comes off when you dry yourself off. I've washed them 3 times now and they still have lots of fuzz. I hope after being washed a few more times this fuzz will be eliminated. I would definitely give them a 5 star if it wasn't for all the fuzz.

Pretty good towel Apr 28, 2010

I bought two of these towels to try them out before replacing my entire set at home. As of now, I am somewhat undecided about whether or not these will be my ultimate choice.
PROS: They are very soft and light, and they dry very quickly in the dryer.
CONS: They seem a little less absorbent than I'd like. Also, they had some pulled threads right out of the package, and a few more after the first washing, so I am unsure as to how they will hold up over time. And the selection of colors available is somewhat limited.
Maybe I just prefer the feel and absorbency of old-fashioned towels. So I'll continue checking out a few others to see if there are any that I would like better. But, overall, a pretty good towel.

Soft, high-quality towels - still watching for price reduction Nov 27, 2008

These 100% cotton towels from Pinzon are high quality and very soft. After the first washing, they are as soft as a towel you've had for months. I have the oat colored towels, and the color is a dull sand tone. (In fact, compared to the picture of the oat colored towel, I would say there isn't a lot of similarities. My towel isn't warm-toned, but much lighter). The size is ample, but a bit narrow in my opinion.
Compared to other bath towels I've purchased, this Pinzon product seems superior until you compare prices. I usually purchase towels from Target, and on sale they can be had for well under $10 a piece. The initial price for this Pinzon towel was $19.99, which is too high, in my opinion.
The price continues to fall and at the time of this review, it's at $13.97; still a bit pricey to pay for a very soft, but slightly better than average quality towel, in my opinion. If the price ends up at $10.00 or less, then I'd say it's a deal worth stocking up on. I'd replenish my bathroom with Pinzon towels at that price.
In summary, these are nice high-quality towels that are soft but a bit narrow and overpriced.

My husband's new best friend Nov 30, 2008

We need new towels, and Amazon gave me one through the Vine Program to review. My husband has been using this towel nonstop for the past week. I have washed it three times in order to get an idea of whether his opinion of it would change. He loves this towel, and he is very picky. I asked him to pay attention to it during the past week regarding (1) softness, (2) absorbency, and (3) size. It passed with flying colors on all three aspects. It is a very soft towel, absorbs water, and is a great size (he is 6 feet 1 inch). Now I have to hope that Amazon will do a little better on the price, because he wants more plus the hand towels.
