A Disgraceful Product Sep 05, 2010 Doesn't Amazon audit products before they offer them for sale. And when there are so many negative reviews of a product, why does Amazon continue to sale the product. Like many other customers, I found the towels were indeed not absorbent and after the first wash they started shredding at the edges. A disgrace. I find myself with two sets of towels that do not even qualify as rags.
What a waste Sep 05, 2010 I purchased these, expecting fluffy towels at an affordable price. What I got, were towels that became frayed around the edges after 1 wash, and constant shedding. Every time I used them, washed them, etc., little bits of fabric came off. My floor was covered with white 'fuzzballs'. What a disappointment these were. A waste of time and money.
Not absorbant Sep 03, 2010 I bought 3 packs, but That was a mistake, because the towels are not absorbant.
Cheap is as cheap does Sep 02, 2010 Not crazy about these towels, I liked the price, but was expecting thicker towels than this. I wouldnt buy them again, but perhaps if you don't care about thickness of the material, they might be fine for you.
$25 YES, any higher NO Sep 01, 2010 If these towels were not so cheap I would probably be upset about the quality. I have three sets. Two were purchased at the same time and another a year later. I have one set that is nice a fluffy, another one is limp and in need of some loving, and one set should have been returned. So there seems to be a quality control issue. The towels will loose there luster, but the fading has seemed to stabilize. So far the towels have held up well, no fraying. I do find them absorbent (TIP: Do not use fabric softener). In fact I was able to dry myself off with one hand towel.
PRO: Inexpensive, absorbent, have held up over time.
CON: Fading, quality control.
