This mat is just the right size to fit under my dog's food and water bowls. If you have very large bowls and wish to have more area covered, you might want to opt for a larger size mat. This mat is easy to wipe clean since it is plastic. The paw print design is really cute, however, when I ordered it I didn't realize that the mat is partially see-through but it still looks nice.
