great mattress cover Jan 04, 2011
By Sabrina Butler since my daughter spends so many hours in her bed, i wanted a mattress cover that i was confident wouldn't have any off-gassing of chemicals that she would be breathing through the night. this is not a cheap product, but was worth it for the peace of mind. we've only been using it a couple months, but it is high quality and seems very durable. also, it's soft and doesn't make any crinkly noises like some of the vinyl pads.

Does the Job Jan 08, 2012
By H. Bunny. I searched high and low for a non-plastic, organic mattress pad for my toddler, and this was the best I could find. I do wish they would create a fitted version. This pad goes just over the edges of a normal sized twin mattress. The pad is made of thick material, so this fits awkwardly even under a thick sheet. Nevertheless, it is comfortable to lay on, and doesn't crunch like plastic. It also hasn't shifted around like I feared it might. My daughter has had one accident on it so far. The accident definitely wet the pad, so it's not exactly waterproof, but it did not leak through to the mattress.

By Green One This waterproof pad is the "berries"! I would like to own a second one; however,it was a bit costly, so I will manage with just one. I am a frugal person and this item was worth every penny. We take it with us on all of our vacations "just in case".

we've been using this pad for our twin three year olds since they moved out of bassinette. Very durable, very water proof, great not to have to worry about toxins or allergens.

Holds water during wash cycle Feb 22, 2011
By Nancy M. Why is this being rated as a toy?
Regardless - thankfully, haven't had to test the waterproof capability on the bed, but I will point out that it retained an incredible amount of water after washing it in a heavy-duty large capacity home washing machine. I had to run it through an extra spin cycle, and the subsequent cycle in the dryer, on high heat, lasted over an hour. After the first wash, it also pilled considerably. But a cheaper-priced 100% organic cotton mattress pad you will not find.
