Mermaid comforter sheet set Apr 02, 2009

Just recieved this comforter and sheets set and its really cute looking. The comforter is thinner then i thought it would be, but it does say that it's 'lightweight' in the description. During the colder months you will definetly have to add another blanket. Seems like really good quality. I have yet to wash everything to see how it will hold up. I HAVE to wash everything cuz it is pretty stinky out of the package.

I was expecting the colors to be more vibrant, and after a couple of washings it faded to 1/2 the color it started out as. The quality of cotton isn't that terrific, either. Some stitching has started to unravel, and with children's bedding you must have quality for all of the washings it goes through. You are better off spending your money on a brand you trust.

My toddler loved the mermaids! Made the transition to her toddler bed easier, I think. I've washed it many times and still looks great. It's not the warmest thing ever though. During the winter months you may need a 2nd blanket.
