 The softest towel ever! Jul 03, 2010
This towel is amazing - the more you wash it, the softer & fluffier it gets. For years I only used Fieldcrest "Royal Velvet," now unavailable. You will see towels called "royal velvet," but they're not the same. Now, years later, I've found these wonderful towels, and so inexpensive on sale. I am truly delighted with Nautica! Who would believe that a Sportswear Manufacturer would have such wonderful towels. Get them!

These towels are a great size, very absorbent, but I have had a minor problem with thread snags on two of the towels. I purchased 6 total.

These towels were not very absorbent at first, but after a few washes, they are much better. They are so nice a big; I love it! My only complaint is that there appears to be bleach blotches on them after a few washes. I do not use bleach in my laundry, so I am not sure what happened to them. They are great towels anyway!

This towel is a very lush, high quality one. The Aloe green color is a beautiful soft green that matches almost any neutral bathroom. It is a very soft towel that stayed true to shape and softness even after being used and washed.
Sea Mist not bleach-safe!!! Nov 17, 2009
I purchased 2 Navy bath sheets and hand towels and 2 Sea Mist bath sheets and hand towels. The navy colored towels were bleached and still look great, but the sea mist towels came out of the wash all splotchy and, well, bleached-looking. I am not sure if this was a bad dye lot, so I have a return on the Sea Mist towels pending with Amazon - I will update the post when/if a refund is finalized. As for the towels themselves (bleach issue aside) they are extremely soft and fluffy and very absorbent (after about 3-4 washes to get all of the lint/fuzz out of them and to get them to their maximum fluffiness and softness.) I really like the towels but wish I didn't have to deal with the apparent defective nature of this lot of Sea Mist.
