Beautiful and comfortable Jun 26, 2009
By Christina Chen I also got the lavender mist, which I absolutely adore. Mine did not come in a burlap sack, but rather in the normal plastic container that you normally buy sheets in. However, they were soft, had a great feel (silky but definitely cottony), and didn't smell as if they had been drenched in strange chemicals and petroleum. Always a plus when you can use something right out of the bag. Love love love the color. Really a beautiful color, and not so lavender that the boyfriend feels silly there. Has stood up to multiple washings so far, and mostly just gotten softer. A little tiny bit of pilling has occured, but nothing significant, and it's probably more my fault than theirs. These are one of the few sheets that fit TWIN beds and were ORGANIC and had a great COLOR palette. All the ones I find in stores around here seem much lower quality, and are either tailored for the kids (covered in cartoony zoo animals, for instance) or for those who have double/queen/king beds. As a college student, I don't quite have that luxury. Nor are these sheets hard on the bank, not at all. Great deal for a great price, I'd recommend these to anyone. =)

Awesome sheets Mar 10, 2010
By S. Si I love these sheets. They feel great and I don't want to take them off the bed! And Magnola Organics has great customer service. They sent me the wrong size and without needing me to return the wrong size and without me paying for additional shipping, they sent me a new set of sheets, the right size. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERIVCE right there.

Really nice yellow Sep 15, 2009
By Susan I was looking for deep yellow organic sheets which can be hard to find in a queen size. Usually the closest color is a muted straw. But these are truly yellow. They are beautiful. The Swiss Dots are not obnoxious and catch the light in a nice way. They feel soft. Very reasonably priced too--$40 for a set of organic queen sheets. I'm delighted.

Well-made, but... Jul 27, 2011
By English teacher Actually, I would give them 2 2/3 stars just to be contrary.
I'm not sure that the other reviewers and I received the same sheets, as my opinion is exactly the opposite of theirs. They're nice sheets in all visible ways, but they seem to be organic according to the letter rather than the spirit of the term (after all, you wouldn't technically be lying if you called CH2O, a.k.a. formaldehyde, organic).
I chose them because of the raves about the lack of a chemical smell (some of the chemicals in traditional sheets trigger my asthma), and because the brands with which I've had good luck in the past had gotten too expensive. To my surprise, the sheets came with the exact same scent that I associate with cheap sheets from Ross. I had to wash them three times before I could use them, whereas I've been able to use other brands straight out of the packaging. Perhaps the cotton is organic, but the finish is traditional. Perhaps they're sprayed with some kind of noxious fungicide during shipping. Perhaps they're stored in an organic chemistry lab. In any case, they don't pass the "can I breathe?" test.
Also, the attempt to wrestle them onto my mattress induced so much fury that my husband came running, thinking there was an intruder in the house. But that's 1/3 my mattress's fault and 1/3 my temper's, so it's only worth -1/3 of a star.
On the other hand, the sheets seem to be of high quality and the color is nice. Also, they don't wrinkle as much as other organic sheets I've had in the past (which I take as yet another sign of some chemical finish). If you buy organic for ethical rather than health reasons, they'll probably be fine.

Okay to tumble dry May 09, 2011
By E. Atkinson I have had these sheets for almost 3 years now, and they are by far my favorite set of sheets (organic or nonorganic). Despite the manufacturer recommendations to not tumble dry, I have been drying these sheets on high since I purchased them and they have held up beautifully with no shrinkage or fading. In fact, they have just gotten softer. So don't hesitate to purchase these and certainly don't hesitate to put them in the dryer. You won't find better quality organic sheets for a better price anywhere!
