 You will be very disappointed if you buy these Jul 22, 2010
These are supposed to be extra-large sizing, 30x40. I just measured one that hasn't been washed or dried yet, and it measures 27x28. They aren't large enough to wrap my daughter's newborn in. In addition, they are not soft. Maybe that would change after washing, but then they'll probably be smaller yet after going through washer/dryer. It is truly a shame for anyone to be selling these as soft, warm, 30x40 receiving blankets.

These receiving blankets have been of very little use to us, as they are much to small to even wrap baby in - let alone swaddle. The fabric is also very thin and not durable.

This is a must have for a number of reasons. Works well as a throw cloth for baby's throw up as well as a blanket.

The product description says extra large sizing 30" x40", but they don't seem all that big. These blankets are not large enough to swaddle my 9-6, 22" baby - which is what we bought them for. Having said that they're great for burp cloths, laying on the floor for tummy time and to use as a towel in a pinch.

I Bought this for my baby before she born and I could not wrap her very well, for the blanket size. I just liked the color, and it was cause i pick up the right color.
