This cover unfortunately did not look or feel like 500 TC material. It seems like they are 250 count sheets, and the sellers are trying to pull them off as 500 (as sheets are 2-ply). The cover still looks quite nice, and I like the damask stripe (however they do wrinkle and of course everything shows up on black sheets!). Though I'm disappointed with the softness of the product, perhaps I shouldn't have expected so much at this price!
