This was given as a Christmas present that worked great with a little inside joke that we have. The recipent really got a kick out of it. I just wished the towel would have been a little thicker; it seemed kind of thin.

I really looked forward to get this item for the summer at the beach. Thought it would be fun and useful. It was poor quality, after the first washing started to come apart. I guess the manufacturer does not understand that someone may actually use this item on the beach and may get it wet. Also it is way too small and thin to lay on.

...but just a bit over 56 x 26 -- and let's admit it: 4 inches makes a big difference! As the other reviewer said, the towel is thinner than expected, but my husband says it does a good job drying him off after his swim. It's also overpriced for lack of size and quality, but the gag element certainly works.

I bought this for my brother who is a police detective in a major city. He has gotten so many laughs and comments in his circle of friends. It is also a very nice thick and big towel. He took it with on vacation and it started many conversations with strangers , so you can also say it is a real ice breaker for making new friends.
