The comforter is vivid and has great detail, however the full size comforter seemed a little small to be a full size. I would probally say it would have been better as a twin. Definitly needed the dust ruffle.
Otherwise the fabric pattern is great.

So I searched the internet for a month trying to find the most reasonable price for this comforter set. When I finally found a price I was willing to pay I still want my money back. The comforter was very stiff out of the package which didn't bother me much because my three year old son will climb in bed with his shoes. I figured after I wash it and use some fabric softner it will be okay. I washed the comforter and on one edge the thread unraveled and the stuffing came out. This was on the 1st wash! I try to mend the comforter but it was unrepairable. Also even after fabric softner the comforter was still very stiff. I wouldn't waste my money on this product again.

My nearly 10 year old son has had this set for 2 years and is still happy with it. The coordinating sheets and shark pillow are wonderful and have held up wash after wash. Great quality product that still looks great! He likes to sleep with the comforter reversed so he can pretend to be underwater.

My 2.5 year old just loves this bed set. We got the fish sheets to go with it and she was so excited. I think her exact words were "Oh wow!" when she walked in to her bedroom and saw a bedspread with in her favorite color with her favorite animals - whales, sharks, and fish. We can use the bedspread to talk about the various marine life. I agree with other reviews that the bed spread is not made out of the most expensive materials, but it is fine for a toddler or child. It looks adorable in her bright pink room, even with the orange fish in the reef. This is a wonderful set for a child who loves water and water animals. Truly wonderful detail for a child's bedspread to encourage the imagination and desire to learn.

I like the look of the comforter a lot. The colors are nice and the sea creatures are cute. The kiddo likes it. My only complaint is that is doesn't seem very heavy. The kiddo doesn't complain of being cold at night but it definitely seems like it could be insulated better. If this were my comforter I know I would be chilly and needing another blanket to stay warm. Overall, I would say buy it if you like the fabric (because it is really cute)...but you may need to supplement it with a fleece throw or something when it gets really cold.
