Great mattress pad Nov 20, 2010
By M. K. Henderson This is a great product. I've had this for about 5 years and use it every night and keep it on all night. I love being warm and this is by far, better than an electric blanket. The heat is under you, not over you. The first time my control showed an "E" and it stopped heating I couldn't figure out what happedend. After I checked it out, my plug at the bottom of the pad had slightly come apart so I just pushed it together. My feet sometimes must push it apart. I have washed this pad several times and it still heats like the first night. Overall I think this is just a great product and I'm buying one for my daughter and her husband - they live in the mountains in Colorado.

Perfect buy! If you need that extra warmth - ONE WARNING TO BE AWARE OF!!! Dec 23, 2009
By The Dragon B It works just like you need it to. Do you have a cold room? Cold feet? Then don't hesitate buy this electric matress pad. As many have stated on their reviews, it takes a few minutes for the heat to be felt. They all do. So put it on 5-10 minutes before getting into bed and you will have a warm toasty bed waiting for you. I set it on HIGH setting 5 minutes before and then cut it down to 4 at a comfy level or risk waking up BURNING from too much heat! If it overheats, the mattress pad has a shut off circuit that kicks it to ERROR mode and shuts off. I like that safety. To reset it, hit the power button off and on again. You have 2 digital controllers for the King Size so you can control your half separate from your partner's half.
Very simple install- Plug it in, run the cords under the mattress and the controllers by your pillow or end table and slip on mattress like any fitted sheet and then slip on your fitted sheets on top of it and you are ready to get COZY! EASY!
My warning?!!! GET A GOOD ALARM to wake you up! Why? I'm finding it very hard to get out of bed when this baby keeps you 'snuggly warm. It's a real pain in the buttocks! Let me hit that SNOOZE button again! Aaaaaah, sooooooo tooooooasty! <;)

Didn't even last a year Nov 14, 2007
By A Reader Within less than a year, this item has heating elements that no longer work, leaving many cold spots in the bed. Additionally, the part where the cord plugs into the mattress cover is right where your feet hit. I'd take this back if I still had my receipt.

Excellent, and even fits queen sized bed! Dec 26, 2008
By R. Michel I've owned this for two years, and it's the perfect thing for my freezing old house. I have it plugged in to a timer so it turns on every evening before I go to bed. The best thing is that I just upgraded to a queen-sized bed, and it still fits!
I'm sad to see that it's no longer offered on Prime, which is how I bought it.

I'm looking for a replacement already Dec 02, 2008
By QualityQuest After just a year, my husband's control goes to "E" (for error?) when he'd move. The cord at his feet is always fully and tightly plugged in--so it seems to be a short in the actual surface area of the pad. Nothing we can fix. (We are both slim, with no pets or kids in the bed too. I haven't even washed it either.) Another drawback, is the plug-in being right where each of our feet are at the end of the bed. I'll definitely look for another brand.
