GEORGOUS RUG/MAT JUST BEAUTIFUL AND PRACTICAL Mar 04, 2009

Bacova Guild Serenity Bath Rug
THERE ARE NO DIMENTIONS MENTIONED IN THIS AD ABOUT THIS LOVELY BATH MAT SO I AM WRITING TO TELL YOU THE SIZE. I BOUGHT 2 OF THIS MAT. FIRST THEY ARE QUITE LARGE, 22x34 AND HAVE A RUBBER NON-SKID BACKING. THE COLORS ARE MUCH NICER THAN IN THE PHOTO, VERY VIBRANT. THIS MAT WILL GO WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT COLOR OF TOWELS. I CANNOT BELIEVE I BOUGHT THEM FOR SO LITTLE MONEY. THAY LAUNDER WELL ALSO. DURABLE, BEAUTIFUL, NON-SKID BACKING, AND LARGE SIZE AND WASH WELL. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR?? BUY THEM NOW BEFORE THE PRICE CHANGES.

Good quality bath rug - color not quite what I expected Apr 08, 2009
By SJP A nice rug - seems well made and substantial. The beige color is somewhat yellower than expected, a disappointment - looked like a clear beige on my web browser - but as someone else mentioned, the combination of colors will go with towels of different colors. We still can't decipher some of the messages that seem to be printed on the rug - "quiet your mind" and "lavender" show up clearly in blue boxes, with the "calm" in another blue box not quite as vivid. Some of the other boxes (especially those next to and below "lavender") seem to have messages written in them that aren't easily read - one might say either "treat yourself" or "trust yourself" and all we can say about the other is that it seems to begin with an "e" - maybe "enjoyment"? - along with faint patterns suggesting clouds and/or leaves. We like the multi-color pattern - not only is it pleasing, but also (unlike the solid color we had previously) it doesn't look as if it needs to be washed the first time someone steps on it.

follow washing directions! Sep 03, 2009
By S. zelms Be sure and follow the washing directions.
Someone else in the household washed it in warm water and dried it in the dryer. It is very dull and faded now after a few washes.
It wasn't until I recevied my second one I noticed the difference. I'm disapointed washing instructions were not more clear.
I hope with proper care the colors will last on this one.
It does have a great non-skid bottom.

An ok rug for the price Apr 29, 2009
By L.S. The rug is in nice muted colors that work well with so many of my bathroom linens that I can change color scheme without changing this rug. My main gripe is that I have a large bathroom and it only comes in the one size. I wish they made a runner size. The rug itself is not very thick or fluffy, but I was using it as a color base to work around so that is not really an issue. It is comfortable enough. I use thicker, solid rugs for the rest of the room. So far it has not slipped on my tiles as the backing seems secure.

If a bathrug could create despair - this is it... Jun 15, 2009
By DeeKay

I never thought I could feel depressed from a bathrug - yet boy was I mistaken! I eagerly unravelled the rug from its packaging and laid it in my bathroom - and its intense ugliness blinded me. All the colors are tinged with a dull yellow hue; it's smaller than I imagined, so the patchwork squares end up being busy and distracting; its thin and has no plushness. I felt wrong standing on it - I could feel the hardness of the floor beneath it and it felt kinda gross once it was damp. It's a hybrid between a piece of carpet and a doormat. After one evening trying it out, it got me so hormonal, my husband tossed it in the linen closet!
I guess the only redemption I'd give it: perhaps if your bathroom is already beige and carpeted, and this is an added accent, then you could pull it off. But if your bathroom is small, and you are looking for this to be your focal point, then prepare to be saddened.
