This product really isn't a towel, it's a BLANKET with ATTACHED pillows. It is very thin - not like a thick-n-thirsty bath towel. My rating may not be fair for this product - I wanted an oversized TOWEL. Maybe if you want a thin blanket with attached pillows you'd love it.

One thing that bothers me is why some people only prefer to use beach towels for the beach. Granted, some of them are so big (such as this one- built for two people, in fact) that you have no choice but to use them to lay on sandy beaches.
Other towels are called beach towels, but I think you'd agree it would be *perfectly* fine if you were to use them as a regular shower towel. If you chose to use a beach towel for a shower towel, it's not like anyone's really going to see you and care about it (unless you leave your blinds open). I think it's because most beach towels have bright tropical colors all over them and that misleads people into thinking you can ONLY use it for the beach. Not true.
Back to the review. As a beach towel, you can't go wrong with the Abogear because of its huge size and how comfortable it is.
