After washing, the cover really softened up and kept in the heat. It looks good, feels good and I feel like it will hold up well over time. Would buy again.

This duvet is a must have! Not only because of the price, but also because of the quality. It is very soft almost like a satin or a silk. The square pattern is subtle. You can see them from afar, and between that and the texture, it's just elegant. I just put it on my bed, and I cannot wait to go to bed tonight to sleep with it. Definitely would recommend this. Also seems like it would be durable, and it is something you can wash yourself and not have to send to the dry cleaners.

turns out plain black duvets and/or pillow shams are hard to come by these days, but they were what i needed. i found them here, and they were exactly what i was looking for. look great, arrived very promptly. thumbs up.

The duvet is nice, and soft. But it isn't really black. It looks more of a REALLY dark green to me. And it wrinkles really easily in the dryer. But overall, for the price, it is ok.
I really wish that they would stop making duvet covers with button closures. The zipper ones are so much better.
