A sueded silk, not charmeuse as I'd hoped. Mar 27, 2009

I purchased a pair of these to help keep my curly hair from becoming brittle (as cotton pillowcases, even high-count weaves, can do). They do seem to help with flyaways and keep the shape of my hair more or less intact. I've also heard that silk against your face is a very gentle but effective exfoliant/polisher.

These pillowcases are quite soft after the first wash. I would have preferred a slightly heavier silk but for the price, you can't complain!
